Note the Time Lag

For digital cameras, there is a time lag between the time you press the camera shutter and the time the photograph is taken. So if you need to capture split second moments, you might want to switch on the burst mode.

2. When in doubt, take more photos! They are free!

In film photography, we often worry about the amount of film we have left for the day, or for the trip, and worry about not having enough film for the best moments. For digital photography, go on and keep snapping! The greatest thing about digital photography sit that you can immediately review and delete photos, and they are free!

3. Know that the photos in the camera are never final!

Most cameras come with image editors that you can use to manipulate, crop and combine photographs before you go ahead and print the photo, so make use of them! There are really no limits to what you can accomplish with these powerful software. Some of them include: adjusting contrast levels, cropping and rotating photos, getting rid red eyes and removing unwanted objects!
